Description
Add a Cobalt 14 connector to your own cable. Perfect for ROV tethers, battery cables, thruster cables, etc.
The Cobalt 14 Cable Termination Kit is available in 3-pin, 4-pin, and 10-pin Hybrid versions.
Your cable must have a bondable jacket (preferably polyurethane) and have a diameter no larger than 11.0 mm.
The termination procedure requires the appropriate Cable Termination Tool (sold separately).
The kit includes:
qty. 1. Connector Shell
qty. 1 Connector Insert with pre-installed electrical sockets (3-pin or 4-pin)
qty. 1 Locking Sleeve
qty. 1 #014 O-Ring
Requires intermediate soldering skills as well as familiarity with potting techniques. Does not include potting material (we recommend 3M DP-420). Please read the Instructions in the DOWNLOADS tab for further detail. Note that you will need an arbor press with at least 1 ton capacity to assemble the termination kit (it requires significantly more force than the smaller Cobalt termination kits).
